Our COVID-19 Vaccine Policy Has Changed
Boundless Team members:
In light of pending legal action surrounding the Occupational Health & Safety Administration (OSHA) and U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) rules regarding the national COVID-19 vaccine mandate, Boundless is adjusting its employee vaccine mandate. Please read this message carefully to determine if the adjustment applies to you.
Effective immediately, we are pausing the implementation of the vaccine mandate for all staff except:
- Boundless Health (all staff, regardless of position)
- President & CEO
- Vice-Presidents
- Directors
The above groups, along with the Boundless Board of Trustees, have already complied with the mandate. Therefore the mandate will remain in effect for any current or new staff member who falls into the above categories.
While Boundless encourages all staff to receive a vaccine, until the rule works its way through the court system, staff members other than those noted above won’t be placed on unpaid administrative leave due to lack of a vaccine.
Vaccinated staff members, regardless of department or job duty, are expected to share proof of vaccine with hrcompliance@iamboundless.org. I’m pleased to share that we’ve received hundreds of vaccine cards and are incredibly thankful to everyone who has received the vaccine or is in the process of obtaining the vaccine.
All employees must continue to follow COVID-19 safety protocols. This includes wearing masks and/or other PPE as appropriate, using the screening tool when at work, and maintaining sanitization and social distance practices.
If you have specific questions regarding the applicability of this adjustment, please contact your supervisor, your department director, or human resources.
Sincerely,
Grace
